The beginning...again!

So I thought I'd take on the idea again, being that I didn't really have a whole lot to say before. I think I stopped before because I didn't think my life was exciting enough...and perhaps it isn't but I can try to make it sound somewhat interesting by blogging it. Right?!

What is new with me...well, let me start are what I'm up to. I'm working for, yet, another home builder. The third so far, and the second multi-family company. I've worked my way up the ranks and am now taking care of the marketing, of the Calgary projects, for a Vancouver based company.

I still live in Calgary and am situated very close to work. so nice to be able to walk and ride to work, although its winter right now. My family consists of myself and my fuzzy friend, Mouse. My parents are two neighbourhoods away and my brother, sister-in-law and nephew live near Mount Royal College.

Mouse...

I'm still coaching sports and still enjoy skiing, biking and have recently taken up golf. I'm becoming quite passionate about it too. I'm still short, blonde and as bubbly as ever, although I've learned to relax more over the past couple of years. Reading has become one of my new favorite past-times. I even got a membership to the library!

Recent books I've enjoyed & recommend:
  • Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

  • the Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards

  • The Pact by Jodi Picoult

  • Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult

  • My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

  • The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory

  • An Unquiet Mind by Kay Redfield Jamieson
This is my current book...

Jodi Picoult has the most amazing way of storytelling. and the way she introduces and establishes the characters is so unique and intriguing. Although most of her books are dark, they have a complex story line and are hard to put down.

Recent music I've downloaded:

  • Dragonette - Galore

  • Dashboard Confessionals - Shade of Poison Trees

  • Hot Chip - Made in the Dark

  • City & Colour - Bring Me Your Love
Album cover...

Okay, that's it for now...I'll upload some pics too. jc
